Jocul Responsabil

Background and scope:

Vantage Enterprises Limited (the “Company”) is committed to promoting a culture of responsible gambling, and takes steps to ensure all of its players and users have a positive gambling experience. While most players play for entertainment purposes, there are people who are more at risk of not playing in a responsible manner.

The Company takes such instances very seriously, and we are committed to helping those players who may identify they are not gambling responsibly. Examples may include:

  • Players who attempt to play despite being underage
  • Players whose gambling habits affects their personal lives
  • Players who become preoccupied with gambling
  • Players who feel resistless or irritable when reducing time spent playing
Underage players

Nobody under the age of 18 years are permitted to use our services or play on the Company’s website. We utilise the services of third parties to help us comply with this, and enact age verification in the below ways:

  • A player signing up on our website must tick a box to confirm they are 18 years or older
  • A player who creates an account must provide their personal information including their date of birth, to allow us to confirm they are at least 18 years old
  • Our marketing is tailored so as not to appeal to underage players

If you know or suspect that somebody under the age of 18 is registered with us, please let us know immediately by contacting us via live chat or email us on hello@lotto247.com.

If you live with someone who is underage, take steps to ensure they do not have access to any usernames or passwords of our site. These can include:

  • Never leave your computer or tablet unattended whilst logged in
  • Password protect your computer so that nobody can access it
  • Avoid using the save my password feature
  • Keep banking information and credit/debit cards in safe place
  • Installing a third party program to restrict your computer’s access to the internet, such as Net Nanny.
Responsible gambling

If you suspect the enjoyment from your gambling has gone and are questioning if you have a problem, the below queries can be useful to help you identify an issue:

  • Do you find yourself gambling as way making money?
  • Do you find yourself wagering with funds for your daily living expenses?
  • Do you find yourself spending less time with family and friends, in order to gamble?
  • Have you ever stolen or borrowed funds to gamble with?
  • Do you ever use gambling as a form of escapism?
  • Do you find yourself lying about the time or money spent on gambling?
  • Do you feel depressed or other feelings because of your gambling behaviour?

If you think any one of these statements above applies to you, please consider implementing some of the below measures to bring your gambling habits back under control.

a) Deposit limits – you are in control of this and you can set your own limits. This allows you to limit the amounts of funds available for you to deposit over a period of your choosing (daily, weekly or monthly). They are effective straight away. These are effective immediately and any changes will only take effect after the current period has ended. This option is found by logging into your account, going to “My Account” and clicking on the “My Limits” menu option.

b) Self-exclusion – you can take a break from your account with us for specific periods of your choosing. You can set this for a range of periods, from 1 day to permanently. This option is found by logging into your account, navigating to “My Account” and clicking on the “Self Exclude” menu option. Please note that this is irreversible and once enforced, you will be logged out of your account and will be unable to log back in until the period has passed. You will not receive any marketing or newsletters from us during this time. You may request the return of funds in your account following completion of your self-exclusion period. If you have opted to self-exclude permanently then you may request an immediate return of funds. Please note, any bets you have placed prior to self-exclusion will remain on your account and not be cancelled.

If you have any questions at all relating to this or need our help, please contact us.
